I believe in Jesus Christ, God`s only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born by the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of the saints, the forgivness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen

The Journey to a relationship with God. Perhaps you already go to a church or a place of worship but have never had a real relationship with a loving God? Perhaps you have been brought up in a religious family and claim to have a faith but are struggling to be sure of how to live your life? Maybe you are not sure and are exploring the possibility that there is a God? Jesus Christ said "I have come that you might have life, and life in all its fullness" John 10;10 Whatever your situation we hope that you will read and consider this message which is written with you in mind.
1. God knows you and loves you personally! The Holy Bible teaches that the Earth and everything good was made by our wonderful creator. As humans we are made in the image of God giving us the freedom to make decisions, to create, to work, play, learn, to take care of each other and to love. We are created to experience emotions and to have a relationship with our loving Father God. He passionatly cares for each of us and longs for us to come to him.
2. What went wrong? We have sadly chosen to abuse our free will and to turn away from God. You may think that this sounds a little harsh but the Bible tells us clearly that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3;23. Our wrong thoughts, actions, selfishness, false religion and living solely to please ourselves have separated us from a Holy God. We see the results in all of the hatred and violence, greed and selfishness in the world. If we are honest we see the results in our own lives too. God longs for each of us to turn from evil, selfishness and pride and to turn back to him. He wants to forgive our sins and to restore our relationship with God himself.
3. Gods Perfect Way "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whosever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16 The punishment for our sins that seperates us from God was taken on the cross by Jesus, He died a painful death for you and took the blame for all of the wrong things that you have done, thought or said. On the cross he died in our place to remove all that stops us having that wonderful relationship with our creator. So great is his love for you. But the death of Christ was not the end. Three days later God raised him back to life offering not only hope and forgiveness for this life, but also eternal life to follow for all who choose to trust in him. You can make that choice today for yourself.
4. A New Beginning Jesus said "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" Revelation 3:20 This is a picture of the risen Lord Jesus standing outside the door of our hearts and lives longing patiently for you to invite him in. If you would like to start that wonderful new relationship with God, made possible through Jesus, then carefully read, understand and then pray the prayer below.
'Father God, Thank you that you know me and that you love me. I know that I have sinned in my thoughts, words and actions. There are so many sinful things that I have done. I am truely sorry for these things and turn from everything I know to be wrong. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross to take the punishment that I deserve. I ask you to come into my life as my saviour and friend. Lead me and guide me. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to undrstand your will for my life. Amen'
